PROGRAM
06:00 Departure from Sunny Beach.
10:00 Arrival in Kazanlak and visit of the Thracian tomb from the end of IV B.C. Visit of the Ethnographic complex and the place for rose oil production – tasting rose liqueur and rose jam, possibility for watching the process of rose oil production with authentic machine for distillation of rose oil. Lunch.
13:00 Visit of the Shipka monastery with the Nativity church with the gilded domes. Visit of the National Park Museum Shipka on top of Shipka Peak (1,326 m) in the Balkan Mountains and the Liberty Memorial that can be seen from dozens of kilometres.
Visit of the architectural and ethnographic complex Etar - an open air museum, which presents the architecture and the style of life in Gabrovo and the region during the second half of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. The museum contains a total of 50 sites – houses with craft workshops, technical installations driven by water – filling mills, water mills, grindstones, etc. On the crafts street the visitors can watch in real time the work of the craftsmen – bell-making, pottery-making, sugar-making, furriery, manufacturing of copper vessels, etc.
17:00 Departure to Sunny Beach and arrival about 20:00.
